Settings: Input - clipped text fields and joystick settings suggestion

I've set up my old Logitech ps2-style controller for the game but when I assign the buttons, the actual button number is clipped off text field and I can't tell what buttons I've assigned when I go back to change something.

As for the joystick suggestion, can you make it possible to link 2 axes together when you adjust the sensitivity and/or make it so the slider has notches in it so I can keep my X and Y axes at the same sensitivity or dead-zones.

Made exactly this observation and suggestion about 9 months ago. So easy to fix, yet nothing.
