sproginator
I don\'t suppose someone can help me figure out how to separate a stage and then launch it as a missile for aircraft such as those in the C7 pack?
Technical Ben
Add it to a decoupler, preferably a radial one, then add a solid rocket to it. Press the '+' button on the stage list in the VAB and drag and drop your rockets to a new stage for each rocket.

sproginator
I figured out how to delete them nvm, but i dont think this is what i meant, i wanted to decouple the rockets first and THEN fire them :/
Technical Ben
If they are decoupled you cannot control them. Sorry.

Tosh
I try that, they just come back around and blow up my ship a) Run faster, or take a screenshot of a bomb kicking your plane and post to \'awesome pictures\' thread in \'General Discussion\' Speaking seriously, I was hit by my rocket too... two or three times. But generally rocket is much lighter and much faster than your ship, and cannot \'come back around\'. If this is not the case -- try to go slowly to let the rocket fly ahead.Ah, yeah, some launcher designs can be found in http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=4291.0 thread. Alchemist
If you want an engine to be activatable after separation, add this to .cfg:ActivatesEvenIfDisconnected = True

Tosh
Where abouts do i add it to, it doesnt seem to work :/Signal flare from Assorted Hardware pack (look for it \'Project and Releases\' section) in is an example of solid rocket booster that can be fired up even after decoupling. Open it\'s part.cfg file in the Notepad and see what\'s the difference.
