The New Helipad

Fair enough - it was a statment, not a challenge entry.

But then on the otherhand if you have written the code for a mod that automatically lands for you, perhaps that is fair play. Personally I see coding mods as part of my gameplay, but that is me.

However I would not want to open the "are autopilots cheating" debate. If I get a moment I will send in an entry doing this by hand too.

Nobody seems to have put Kerbal X on it yet so here you are.

And for good measure, also Two-Stage Lander and Z-MAP Satellite.

And Super-Heavy Lander, too.

Kerbal 2 and Rover + Skycrane are too tough nuts to crack for me in time I'm willing to give it. Both should be possible though.

I asked Jeb to put something on the helipad for this challenge, but he thought that was a bit obvious, and decided that the cadet centre needed a 'gate guardian'. Whilst not meeting the rules of the challenge, I think it complies with the spirit.

Or maybe an eight-Kerbal load [though this attempt was unsuccessful].

Though some of these attempts, I must admit, are much cooler.

All three stages of my fully-reusable Falcon 9 and Dragon Rider replica. I initially tried to land the entire thing and then break each part off and set it down in order, but the thing was too hard to control so I had to fly the first stage by itself, then the second and third stages together. Then I separated the third stage and landed it as well.
