I present to you The Exodus.

This baby Glides, Flies and lands easier then throwing a hotdog down a hallway.

it only uses Nova Silisko\'s LV-T300 (there is a variant with Big bertha)

and can travel up to 1090m/s

although sadly this is only a millisecond before fuel runs out.

for the general public i will release The Valiance, The Seeker X1, the KX-15m, The Zepher and the Black Mumba.

the exodus will not be released to the general public until i have finished developing an alternative version (shh top secret)

but if asked to by the Challenge poster i will release these files.

All files need C7 and silisko KSP

EDIT: Obviously this is simply an 11-engine variant of Damonjay\'s \'Exodus\' plane. I must admit that his own 11-engine variant, \'Exodus II\', appeared to be a bit more successful. See below.

I also would like to present a picture of landing happened just yesterday with my top secret Wyvern II. She yielded only 982 so I\'m not reportin\' that flight; but the landing was absolutely crazy. I couldn\'t even steer aside!

Why didn\'t you add that engine before posting your Exodus I to make me look for some other design?

As you publish your idea it does no longer belong to you (unless you protect it legally with some kind of '©' sign ), and anyone may take it and see whether that idea is capable of even more.

And as for me -- I wouldn\'t mind someone \'stealing\' one of my ships and makin\' it a bit better.

EDIT: And it seems I\'m no longer able to add engines to \'stolen\' designs \'cause my good old CoreDuo 1.86 simply failed to handle that 15-engine plane... :-[

I object. Doesn\'t it deserve respect if someone can take a ready ship -- and pilot it a bit better?

Moreover, describe what d\'ya mean saying \'stealing\'? Is adding one more engine \'stealing\'? Is re-balancing a ship to make it run at lower AOA \'stealing\'? (and if creator of original ship was too dumb to do that \'imself -- shouldn\'t he be referenced as \'sucker\'? ) Is using the same parts \'stealing\'?

Define more concretely please.

if you have taken someone elses designs then improved it (under 25% of the plane has been modifyed) then the original creator deserves some credit. If you use someone elses aircraft then fly it better, they also deserve some credit. All that will happen is the tag goes pilot,developer/original developer. Stops people going crazy saying they stole somebodys design.

If you developed it on your own none of the above matters.

That\'s strange but I\'ve somehow managed to build just another one plane. My CoreDuo had graciously conceded that 13 engines is not \'too much\' yet. But it seems that very soon I\'ll have to quit this, err, \'engine race\'

Here\'s The Bloodtick (notice the shadow on the ground when landing), hungry to bite someone. Stolen just a second ago right from Damonjay\'s secret laboratories in the krat holes under KSC... just kiddin\', it\'s an original design.

And I\'ve just came upon a plane I\'ve been completely unable to land. Asteroidea\'s just circulated above the KSC at her 30 m/s gaining altitude. I believe it\'s been that \'defy gravity\' bug...

P.S. At top speed she performed poorly.

UPDATE. Seems I\'ve finally got something interesting from my Asteroidea. She\'s learnt to fly... and to land.

I believe it\'s the first plane I\'ve ever built which is really beautiful. Look, ain\'t she entrancing?

I especially appreciate her urge to stay aloft. Sometimes it seems she wants to stay in flight so much... even at 19 m/s.

And I even feel sorry I had to hurt her in all these crush-landings. :\'(

Less than a half of the plane survives such a crush.

Anyhow here are the record flights.

It seems that not too many \'approaches\' have left. We\'ve found the best engine, the best capsule, the best SAS. And all that\'s left is to stupidly increase the number of engines... until game begins to lag. My computer\'s already lagging))

Anyway feel free tryin\' to beat my results, even with the same design.

Announcing KX-19, merger of KX-15 and Dinky projects, clocking in at 1143.7 m/s at an altitude of 839m while overflying KSC.

Second best run recorded 1142.3 m/s at an altitude of 873m.

During the landing maneuver the KX-19 successfully tested the Mk V ablative undercarriage system.

And finally came to a safe rest a short walk from the launch center.

As I said my hardware cannot handle such a race anymore, so I\'m out. Probably till 0.13 release?

UPDATE. And here is my goodbye gift, the very last plane I report to this challenge (I mean it, I just cannot pilot at 0.5 FPS!). I\'ve applied Omnivore\'s \'three-engines-on-a-stick\' idea (KX-19) to my Asteroidea design -- and have built The Mermaid running at 1162.3/1166.1 m/s.

Note that adding 6 more engines (as compared to KX-19) has yielded only 10 m/s increase in speed. So I wish best of luck to those who\'s still playing; it seems that you are very close to an \'absolute limit\'.

Well I hate to have to admit defeat but I can\'t duplicate or exceed your results as the thrust exceeds the structural strength between the wing and fuselage even at higher altitudes whether I use your design or a modified KX-19. I wonder if I have the latest C7 files, perhaps C7 increased the structural strength of the wings?

The KX-19 was at the structural strength borderline - it always self destructed the very instant fuel ran out as it couldn\'t withstand the deceleration. It also liked to come apart at low altitudes if you stepped on the gas.
