Lander keeps falling through the Mun

I'm attempting to land a craft on the Mun. I already have 1 lander there which I had no problems with.

Since then, everytime I try to land another craft, it falls through the surface for about 10 meters then explodes...

Only mods I'm using are Kethane and KAS.

Anyone have any ideas about this?

I'm using the LT-2 legs (four of them), landing at less that 3m/s. The lander works well on Kerbin so I don't think it's a craft design problem. I've done 3 'landings' which should of been successful, they were about 30-60km apart from eachother, the ground did look odd and kind of like a lower res texture in that area though.

Just restarted the computer and game, so I'll try again and see if anything changes.

Ah, think I solved it. Heard using the 'low' setting for textures could cause problems like these, changed it back to 'default'. Did a few tests, made 3/3 successful landings now, looks like that was probably it.

That's a pretty significant issue with the collision detection routines. You might want to report it specifically as a bug.
