Extend input controls

Yep, many times I forget the key for what I want to do. And as KSP expands, the number of command keys is increasing.

What would you think of enabling the internal cockpit view so that selecting control panel buttons and switches actuated these commands?

This would be in addition to whatever the key is, and might be an attractive feature to consider.

One of these days I plan to fly a mission totally from within the internal cockpit view.

You can already go into the cockpit view for some commands. I think as they improve IVAs in general, we'll see more cockpit functionality. Not to mention other things you'll be able to do from inside of vehicles, stations or bases.

I think the cockpit doesn't have enough buttons.

IVA's aren't actually done yet, so this might get added when the devs decide to finish the IVAs.
