Need help getting rover to Duna!

Alright, so I REALLY want to somehow get a rover to Duna. Not a piloted rover though. I've never been to a planet yet but want to use a rover to explore the deserty awesomeness of Duna! The problem is, I just have no clue how to get a rover into orbit. I can make a rover, and it can drive good, just can't get it off the ground. Any tips would be appreciated, especially download links to a rover INCLUDING the launch parts and stages. Thanks. :)

Honestly the easiest way (and way I did it the first time) was to use the stock rover + sky crane. Build a ship capable of reaching duna, slap the stock rover on top of it (use a stack decoupler between the two). Control the ship from your rover, try to land the ship, when it gets near landing (right after suicide burn) hit the stage for the separator and land your rover while your ship blows up.

Alternatively you could actually land the ship and use the skycrane that is on the rover... I found this away to be easier.

That said, if I could see your rover I could probably build a launch vehicle for it.

The lifter stage is a bit OTT as I borrowed it from another mission that sent something a bit heavier to Duna, and the crane that drops on to the surface before releasing the rover is also a bit overpowered for the weight it's carrying, but it works.

Use symmetry to make sure your rover balances on its booster. Fly to Duna and insert it with parachutes. Easy.

I use subassembly manager to attach the rover to the lifter. Takes a little fiddling with struts and decouplers, but it got there alright, tucked nicely under the lander.
