Totally lost!

After the third time attempting to download the game via HughesNet I finally got it done and installed. My problem now is I have no idea what to do! I go to the Assembly building but there are no parts to build with, I go to the plane hangar and still no parts to assemble, and then I go to the Academy and I can not manipulate any of the astronuts. I am running a MacMini with extra memory installed and all the software types match the install criteria. Am I missing something? I tried to go to Youtube but the tutorial says that I should have parts to build with??? Anyone have any ideas.

parts are on the left.. you will have to pick a command part 1st

try the 'loading' option on the top right to see if the game loads a pre-made rocket too

check out the massive amount of youtube videos as well.. many there for starting from scratch

as for what to do 1st.. up to you. My 1st mission was to get to orbit .. took days and a whole lotta weeds before i started watching youtube and learning

Downloading via HughesNet and weeds. I love where this thread is goi-- *dies*

Anyway, I agree that it's probably a corrupt install.

Be sure you have downloaded the correct version for the Mac.

Note, many of the You Tube rockets are using modded parts. Those will not appear in the Parts display on the left in the VAB

If you are missing all parts, then you have an incomplete install.

"70% of all software issues can be fixed by turning off the computer, waiting 30 seconds, and then turning it back on again. 25% are fixed by uninstall, then reinstall. The last five are making sure your hardware, firmware, and software play well together."

Good old dad. Told me this when I was 10.
