Where can i get nice looking heat shields?

I don't have deadly reentry, but I like the look of the shield under and craft and when its ripping through the atmosphere. I found these mods.

This mods nice, but im looking for large shields. The one 5m part is bugged and rips my ship in half when I ditch it after shute deploy. No matter what I try I cant get it to fall away cleanly.

Home has a real nice, small shield and finally this last one I saw.

These shields are a perfect fit, but sadly their textures don't seems to load and are just blank models. So..does anyone know of any other heat shields out there? Or a way to fix the later ones texture?

That last one, at least, is an older mod and so you can't install it like mods from .20 or later. You need to actually put it in the root Parts folder - it won't work from GameData.

That's what I did. The mod works its just the texture seems missing.

Its old and out of date so its no surprise, but is there any other heat shields out there?

You could try installing deadly reentry then removing the plugin file.

O I thought DR was just a plugin. Don't know why I didn't think of that. I'll try it out thanks.
