7 Kerbal Exploration Aircraft STOL

Hello all,

I made an aircraft that I'm fairly happy with and I'd like to share it to the public.

FEATURES:

-Adequate amounts of fuel for medium distance expeditions or rescue missions

-Room for 7 Kerbals, offering space for rescues or crew deliveries

-Vertical thrust jet engines for short takeoffs and landings

-High power turbojets for quick long range travel

-Searchlights for finding anomalies and stranded kerbals

-A detachable boarding ramp because it looks cool

Action groups and controls:

1: Toggle Vertical Jets

2: Toggle Main Turbojets

For a short takeoff,

1.Detach the ramp then press 2 and throttle up to full (it turns off the main jets and keeps the vertical ones on) (also, keep the parking brakes on).

2.Press 2 when the jets reach ~95Kn and release the brakes.

3.Pitch up and you're in the air.

For landings you can either try to do a VTOL ish landing OR stall the aircraft and kill your vertical velocity at the end (once again, have your brakes ready)

I haven't checked the range on this yet, but I'm pretty sure that it can reach the north pole.

I would never have thought of putting the 2.5m nosecone on the Mk3 fuselage. Dear lord that's beautiful!

Yep, radial attachment points help alot. I'm also gonna test if the plating on the back is kinetic energy missile resistant . TO THE SPH!

Whoa, I just found out that this thing has reverse thrust capabilities!

and now it's parked in the hangar.
