What so you think is going to be in the .22 update?

Titan Space Agency

What do you think is in the next update?

  1. 1. What do you think is in the next update?

    • Resource mining.
    • Mony and other campain system stuff.
    • Just an update with more parts.
    • Part rebalencing
    • Female kerbals
    • Biger part sizes (3meter)
    • Better aerodynamics
    • Deadly reentry
    • Observatory
    • None of the above (post ideas below)

The nose dropping upon a turning maneuver is accurate. it happens in real and model aircraft where you have to apply some nose up control to compensate.

I think you misunderstood. The problem isn't the nose drop at steep bank angles, but the nose drop that happens every time you give any roll input to the plane. It is caused by the SAS system's incapability to the one job it was designed to do - to keep the plane pointed in the right direction.

Imagine this: You're flying an SSTO spaceplane at Mach 5 and you notice the plane is banked a few degrees to the side. You give it just a little bit of opposite aileron input to correct it, and BAM! the controllers for pitch and yaw are also disabled, causing the plane to drop the nose. You start going back down and lose some of the speed you have built up. Sure, it's easy to recover, but it's a pain in the arse nevertheless - especially at high altitudes when even the smallest changes in angle of attack may result in flameouts. I'd like to fly my spaceplanes to orbit without having to avoid using the ailerons. The same goes for yaw and pitch inputs which also cause weird stuff to happen, although pitch is causing less problems.

Repeating myself, just to be clear: This is not a "problem that isn't a problem" with the flight dynamics. I'm training for a GPL so I know how airplanes work. This is certainly not how they do.

C7 himself (the developer of the new SAS) has said that this is not the intended behaviour - when you provide control input to one axis, the other 2 should remain locked in place, which they do not. I believe he posted a blog article on how the SAS works just after the 0.21.1 update, and in said article he confirmed that he's trying to make the system more solid.

).

Observatory? Observing what exactly? New, as yet unknown planets, moons, asteroid belts to fly to? Who knows, but without that new content it'd be pretty much pointless.

they have already confirmed something like an observatory type deal well not an observatory but there could be one ill provide my souce and ill all copy and past the text here

During a Development chat, one of the devs said that you have to "discover" things with a telescope or probe to find out information about it. For example, if you were going to Jool, and looked in Map View, it would look like a giant green sphere unless you had already sent a probe there with cameras (That will be added to the game in a further update) and scientific instruments.

Female kerbals? Apeases the feminist crowd, who're not no doubt an intended market anyway so no priority there, and the sex crazed teen boys who're also the ones wanting weapons so and multiplayer so they can blow people up, which has been confirmed isn't going to happen so no priority there either.

This is full of generalisations, sterotyping, and assumptions.

sorry for terrible spelling.

How about new destinations? How about a gas giant with an axial tilt with some moons?

I believe they said no new places till discovery is added. Also I think it was mentioned that the current system to handle planets wont work with a tilted planet.

What possible harm could result from that? Is there something wrong with encouraging women in science?

not a single thing

now that I've said my peace, what I think will be in the next update:

-further expansion into the already added features for career mode.

-a basic tech tree and science system

-small peformance changes here and there

-small bugs fixed

-a changed science system

-a few new parts there and here, namely science based

-behind the scences stuff getting ready for features that they would like to add in .23

I realize now I probally should have combines all my comments into a big one, I'm just a bit tired now and wasn't thinking about it.

I appoligize
