Compact mission designs?

Has anyone made terrestrial compact mission crafts?

I made one recently to Duna, inspired by the Mars Constellation project. It unpacks some mining materials, functions as a permanent base and also has some light explorations vehicles. I try to keep it as stock as possible, with the only mods used being stock fairings (for aesthetic purposes), Kethane (to give it some function) and Kerbal Attachment System for connecting them up. The craft itself has 2 drill modules, 1 power core and a rover and glider.

Normally, I'd put this in the mission report, but I'm also interested in seeing your designs if you had made similar crafts.

I've been trying forever to find the best mods and make a good lander to do a constellation style mission!

EDIT: I also would like to know what you recommend for creating a compact lander.

I tried to do one, Boris 1 blew up, Boris 2 also blew up, and Boris 3 ran out of fuel.

I suppose I can share it. You need to have the 3 mods, Procedural fairings, Kethane and KAS. Also, you'll have to design the transfer booster yourself
