What follows is my first truly reliable Munar vehicle.

By this I mean reliable in the sense that every time I launch I now arrive in Munar orbit. So far I haven\'t landed, but that\'s more to do with my abysmal piloting skills than the design of the rocket!

I don\'t doubt it. However, this is to do with the aforementioned bad piloting skills. I like to have enough fuel to allow a serious margin for error!

In one of my landing attempts, I was slingshotted from the Mun back to Kerbin. I had sufficient fuel to do a once around and get back to the Mun AND make a reasonable attempt at landing (which failed, but at least I got the crew home).

The tight missions are the best missions. When that fuel budget is starting to look really doubtful and the best you can hope for is a prolonged aerobraking session at the end.. 'That\'s Kerbal!'

yeah, rockets that were built totally of vanilla parts look pretty much same.
