Hello, is it possible to put extra buildings/structures on Kerbin or other celestial bodies?

Since there are easter eggs in the Kerbal system, and many more buildings than those on KSC, I was wondering how I would make buildings myself.

I'm thinking of making an ALS for the KSC runway, and if that actually works, some PAPI as well.
