REQUEST: Duna traveler with rover

Greetings kerbinians.

I want an awesome designer to create a spacecraft that can get to Duna and drop off a few landers and atleast 1 rover.

On the rover I will need some stuff from Kethane. All landers need MechJeb, can't land without it :-/.

All right, a few questions:

- Firstly, except for Kethane and MechJeb, are we free to use any other mods?

- Secondly, could you be more precise as of what do you exactly want from Kethane on your Rover? Do you want it to be able to drill, refine, detect kethane?

I thought I replied to this thread, but it seems I did something wrong during the process. Oh, well.

Basically, I was asking if, except for Kethane and MechJeb, we could use other mods. And, secondly, what Kethane systems did you want on your rover? Do you want it to detect, mine or refine kethane?

I am trying to design the rover but it's hard to add mining drills and a detection module while keeping the whole thing compact AND look realistic.

So, for recap, you want some kind of spacecraft with:

• a Propulsion system,
  
• a Module capable of staying in a stable Duna orbit and detect Kethane on the surface,
  
• a Lander with refining Kethane ability,
  
• a Rover with mining drills, empty tanks for Kethane and a detection module

I usually do not put mining stuff on my rovers, but only on landers. So, I started to recycle an old idea I had for a drop pod. I could add a Kethane detector on it, if you like the idea to have your rovers detect Kethane and do science, before sending the big drills and their crews via landers. Tell me what you think.

EDIT: Rover doesn't need detectors, only drills.
