Freelancer Discovery Advanced Train (remake - stock)

Been thinking what to make next. The reason for this thing is to have a refueling ship in orbit. Of course i dont want just a bunch of fuel tanks. I want to have some style to it so whats better than making it fun. Have you guys ever played Freelancer? If so then you've probably seen the Advanced Train. That's a perfect competitor for a fueling ship.

Here is the cab all made. I shall add more to it soon.

I don't know where your center of mass or center of thrust are, But I would be careful about where you are putting engines. It looks like it could be unbalanced in a layout like that, if I'm looking at it right.

The center of thrust is a tiny bit above the center of mass which i dont really care about since this ship is now in orbit at the altitude i want it to be and wont see any engine activity from now on. Actually i overdid it with the regular engines. I still have 2 full orange tanks left that i'll have to dump since they match the trailers i'll be adding to it.

Have you played FL recently? I havent touched it in probably 2 years since i've got so much stuff to play. Use to play discovery.

That's fine, I thought it was wildly unbalanced and was going to be moved around. It would be good to see it finished, looking good so far.

Its gonna be so long that it might be better if you build it in the VAB; the SPH can get a little hard to work in if the craft gets too long. You can copy your craft file (in saves/ (saved game name) folder/ ships/ SPH and put the copy in the VAB folder and continue working with there. But all that is up to you. :-)

@dispatcher - it´s a train ship he can add the rear parts after the cabin has been put into orbit.

Plus, the SPH mirror symmetry is too useful for building this kind of ship

Alright folks, added one set of tanks.

And completely finished. She carries 17,775 liquid fuel, 21,725 oxydizer, 950 RCS, and has a large and middle sized docking rings on the belly to re-fuel ships. (also the big ring on the rear end for more fuel cars if needed)
