Was There a Change in "Undo"?

It seems like performing an undo action (CTRL + z) in the VAB performs differently than it used to. The difference is that now a copy of the parts that were moved are left behind and they weren't before 0.21. I might be wrong, but I just want to make sure I didn't miss a notice about an intended change.

I haven't done a lot of scenario testing with this, but I can consistently reproduce this by detaching a part from my ship and dropping the newly detached part somewhere to the side. Then I press CTRL + z and the detached part becomes reattached to the ship, but a copy of the part is left where I dropped it. If memory serves, the part used to reattach, but the a copy would not be left behind.

Does anyone remember this behaving differently before 0.21? Am I on crack?

Perhaps not crack, but I would reconsider the brand of bananas you choose to smoke. I prefer Chiquita organics.

It behaves the same as it has since at least 0.18.

But there does seem to be a slight difference (or maybe I'm smoking the wrong bananas). It seems that if you make two quick changes and then hit undo it will revert both changes and not just the previous one. Anyone else found that or should I put this banana down?

if you remove a piece and delete it then hit CTRL-Z then it will undo the move without leaving a duplicate part. This cuts down on undo lag big time. So if you accidentally remove a huge section of your ship just press delete while still holding it. then hit Undo.

Nice tip. I have noticed a lag of a few seconds when undoing sometimes, especially if the undo is associated with many parts. And since there's no indication that it's "busy" trying to undo, I sometimes get impatient while waiting and press the undo key combination again thinking I had messed it up the previous time. Cutting out the lag should help keep me from over undoing.
