quirks with VAB and stage information

when you have lots of parts and the stage display icons (orange things on right side of screen) go clear up and past the top, is there any way to 'pull' them down to look at them and make corrections?

and, when stage icon data, say decouplers is co-located with the ksp button to leave vab and go to space center, is there anyway to execute the stage icon and NOT the goto space center icon.

I have not found anyway to be able to edit / change / access these stage icons and the part in them when number of parts exceeds viewable screen space.

found method to do this

If you put the mouse pointer over that column, the mousewheel will scroll the whole staging list up and down. That may help manage a long list and get around your stage/exit conflict.
