I entered jool soi, spent 400-500 Delta v got an aerobreak into laythe and acheived an intercept right of the bat with tylo(my target)

further I landed with just enough fuel to not crash.

then I used kethane to refuel the ship with less fuel that I thought I would have but manage to acheive orbit and use rcs to barely dock with the orbiting station right as I ran out of rcs.

it even has a clamp-o-tron! I can't even remember why I put it on there to begin with.

unfortunately, it got wiped with computer issues, but I'll re-create it eventually

I'm better at the game now, but at the time, I couldn't even muster up a minimus encounter haha

I spent a loooong time trying to get this goliath into orbit: (Older version, so back is different)

But every time, without change, the force of the launch would crumple under that weight like a wet paper bag. Finally, in frustration, I built a cage around the lander and fired it that way. I used an obscene network of struts and basically caged in the lander.

It worked. It worked so well I was able to add another set of staging and get it up and away.

It was one of those dumb things you do in desperation that inexplicably works.

I was docking with my space station, still some distance away, and I accidentally decoupled my command module from the propulsion unit. Panic set in, but then I realized the thing was heading straight for the docking port I had targeted! It went in for a near-perfect docking without any control inputs

I crashed a dumb-looking spaceplane.

Then I realized - I had created an infiniglider.

So naturally I had to crash it.
