OK I been trying to get a jet into space, everything is fine until I run out of air, how do I turn on/off my jet engines a) before my oxidized engine and after I don't need them anymore?

Simple thing I know but it's bugging me to death meh!

Moved to a more appropriate forum.

You need to turn off the jet before they run out of air (unless you have just one center jet, and the flameout wont make you spin).

1) Nearly out of air

2) turn on Rocket engine

3) turn off jet (just after, you can try to push your luck and hope that the speed will get you more air, but it's better to turn it off and point up to get out of the atmosphere for most jet)

Make sure you use action group to toogle the engines.

Assign your engines to an action group. I set my jet engines on a separate key to my rocket engines so that I can toggle between them, but also have them all on or off if I need to.
