Reworked aerospace parts

I think the devs had talked about re visulizing and tweaking all the spaceplane parts in .17 or something. in my opinion i think that the parts need to re-overhauled.

What do you guys think?

I agree. All of the spaceplane parts seem really...below the average quality of rocket parts. I mean, they're good for a mod, but for the stock game, they really need some work. I think they realize this and since they got B9(Artyom, I think) working for them, we might see some amazing spaceplane/shuttle parts coming whenever they get around to reworking the aerodynamics and stuff.

However, until they rework aerodynamics, we don't really need new spaceplane parts. When we get science, life support, more station parts and so on...then we'll actually need something like a shuttle delivering those parts and modules to orbit regularly and that would be a really good time for them to introduce cargo bays, heat shielding(if they bother with that) and so on.

So basically, it's going to happen...it has to. Unfortunately, we've got to wait a while for it. On the plus side, the next couple patches are going to be really exciting, so we'll have plenty of stuff to keep us busy until they get around to reworking aerodynamics and spaceplane parts

It should happen before beta, With B9 in Squad now. No doubt it will come with reworked aerodynamics.

this just made me realise the game is only in alpha. though I already knew that the, it means KSP still has a whole development stage till full release. it kinda blows my mind to think about what could possibly get added by then considering all they've added over the last 3 updates.

They said a couple months ago that they were about...a year and a half(eighteen-ish months) away from when they expected to release KSP1.0 so we're still about a year away. Of course, things rarely go as expected so we'll probably see KSP1.0 'round December of next year or just before spring of 2015. Maybe. I don't know >_>

Maybe something phenomenal will happen and they'll complete the game by next summer XD

The aerospace parts are looking a bit more outdated with each new version of KSP. The selection of parts also needs improving.

I suspect that they will update them at a similar time as the aerodynamics and flight model.

maybe the update right before aerodynamics get changed. put aerodynamics and other optomisitations togethere.
