Grouping Flights

This is just a minor idea but as the title of the thread says it would allow you to group flights together.

If this was implemented you could group ships together by mission Ie. a Mun lander and Command module in orbit would be grouped in a tab in the tracking station.

When you only have a few flights on at the same time this is pretty pointless however when you have large colonies on multiple planets with large numbers of ships your tracking station can become very cluttered and this would just make things a little neater.

Anyone have any thoughts on this.

Good idea. Also nice would be sort options for flights, e.g "sort alphabetically" and "sort by current SoI" in addition to the current sort by launch date.

The tracking station needs more love. There's a lot of potential for improving how we manage missions. Grouping, sorting, renaming, changing icons, reporting on resource status... All kinds of great features, just waiting to be added.

Grouping certainly sounds sensible - perhaps in the Tracking Station UI, there could be a collapseable tree, with related vessels listed (and can be recovered/selected/terminated) individually under the name of the group?
