Has anyone else aerobroke at laythe instead of jool at interplanetary velocity?

Screw jool, I am doing it right at my destination. Saves me some dv...which will be used up anyways because of that inclination burn for the rendezvous with interstellar 2. (Other ship).

This is part of an interstellar space station I'm building.

The first ship is the unmanned crew module that will act as the core of this 2 module sation. And the second ship is the crew transport vessel.

The sister ship interstellar 2:

She is the more advanced counterpart to the older model. Lighter, sleeker, almost same crew capacity (one less) and fuel budget for a more modest part count. However I still find the older model viable, Has two deployable probes, more individual crew cabins reduce the chance of losing all your kerbals and an crash and emergency chutes to help reduce speed to a more survivable lithobrake. Which I will upgrade and add decouplers to the MK I's with their own chutes in a design retrofit for the interstellar one.

Believe it or not the rover was docked separately to a jr. docking port, those two rcs tanks have a few hundred M/s dv in them. (paracute hidden under mech jeb)

And a few screenshots of the sister ship aerobraking at boring old jool, but makes up for it with a much cooler profile
