Interesting, I didn't know helix had logged a bug report, my bad, as for that issue, hmm, have you tried re downloading it from the spaceport? When did you do load it from the spaceport? It is possible I may need to reload it there.

I can verify Helix935's bug report. The extendo and radial reaction wheels show up; the cargo bays and rs docking node do not.

The log file says the models don't exist. There's also some warnings I don't understand. Here's the relevant snippet from the log file:

What our team has been piecing together it sounds like an install issue, ie putting the game data folder inside the game data folder. Anyways glad it's fixed for you helix

uhh i should probably mention that i fixed that bug on my own like around a few weeks or even a month ago by moving the part files around until it finally appeared....

then again i can't really right now but it is fixed for me

Everything Wolfpack is working fine for me.

I downloaded it from the spaceport about half an hour before posting that. But since then I did figure out the problem (as you said, the files weren't in the right places). So the problem is solved on my end, but there may be something glitchy when downloading it.

Sure

Have a look at my spaceplane:

88wv.png

The doors aren't blocked by anything. By the way, I used to think that parts of the same vessel don't collide.

And here is the same plane standing vertically at the runway. I've removed all the struts connected with wings or the cargo bay so that you could see what happens clearer when the door is in the process of opening or closing.

It seems that some force is applied to the barrel below the cargo bay. Or maybe not to the barrel, but to the wings.

Sparker. I've had a quick moment to look. Are you using the model from the WPA pack because that strange cross hatching looks very familiar to the space junk cargo version. The skin just looks different. Also when you attach wings to the cargo pod, the animations have colliders on them as well and I think that is why it's causing the wings to "pop" during animation then appear to lock when it's finished opening or closing the doors. I would try running a beam along each side and attaching the wings to that instead of the cargo pod.

I am curious as the to the answer to this question as well.

I'm sorry for not answering for long time.

Yes, exactly in this plane I'm using the SpaceJunk cargo bay, but as I know the SpaceJunk cargo bay and the cargo bay from this pack are the physically the same but have different textures.

Thank you for your advice, I'll note the collision of parts with the doors next time.

That would be my suggestion as well. I'm told that the old SpaceJunk Bay has some moving collider issues with the doors, but I'm not a modeller and can't really help with it (other than to tell you not to have any other parts close to the moving doors). I've left the old mod up on Spaceport just for anyone still interested in using the old version, but the Wolf Pack version is where the future improvements are being done.

The answer to your question is not much. It's a quick rescale in Blender, assuming you don't mind the side textures then being stretched (not that you'd notice, all distinguishing markings are along the axis of stretch :sticktongue:). Heck I think you could even do it in the .cfg meaning no second model or texture, save on memory usage.

The biggest improvement that could be made is the length of the bays, I find them always coming up short for any interesting cargo.

How much work is it to stretch the model lengthways?

An extra 50% or even double length would be awesome. Keep up the good work. :)

Sorry I'm usually really on top of responding to you buys, my apologies, as for extending the cargo bay, hmmm we'll as Sierra has said, it is quite do-able. I'll talk to the r&d boys and see if they can fit it in their schedule, we currently have some real life commitments cropping up but rest assured we have heard the request and we shall see what we can do.

I'd really like to see engines that fold out of a cylinder and extend out...

Better still:

A hollow cylinder, with four extendable panels in the cardinal directions. This would allow things like antenna/Dishes, batteries, RCS nodes, KAS parts, and fold out rover wheels to be mounted inside (for aerodynamics). I'm just picturing a rectangular prism covered by rounded panels connected to the prism on four corners by hydraulic arms.

If nothing else, and you've got the time. Fold out/deploy-able rover wheels.
