Docking Rovers: Option To Lock Suspension

Hi,

I'm trying to build a Mun base by docking rovers, experiments around the KSP aren't going well... Each rover has a different weight, which messes with the suspension and stops them docking.

Can we please consider a Lock Suspension option which could make them all the same height.

have you ever tried driving a rover without suspension?

I don't think he wants to drive them around without suspension, just toggle locking it when he comes to dock the rovers. I can't seem to think of any other situations this would be useful in though...

Yeah, I only had final docking in mind.

If the option had to be more generic, then toggling between a maximum up/down could help vertically re-connecting with a lifter/sky-crane to move modules around?

Since docking is the only place this is useful perhaps the better suggestion would be to just ask for better support for docking while on rovers? Perhaps the tolerance of docking ports should be a bit wider when the vessel is landed. I have the same problem, that you can't get the height exactly right and even if you can you still have to spend forever carefully lining up the alignment because on the ground the magnets of the ports aren't strong enough to slide the craft sideways into alignment like they are in orbit, so you have to keep fiddling with zig-zagging in and out from the port until you happen to find the sweet spot.
