Okay so today me, my mom, and my 3 sisters were all going for a nice walk.

We get to an intersection with a stoplight and wait for the light to change, and for us to get the crosswalk signal.

About 3/4 the way through this guy is speeding down the road, on the wrong side, and starts to turn AT US in the intersection.

i start to scream"RUN" to everyone to get out of road, and just narrowly the guy misses my middle sister who was at the back of the group.

We all turn once we get away from the road to see him swerving down the street, and narrowly miss two parked cars, and a streetlight, he was probably drunk.

On the positive side, the occasional adrenaline rush is good for the heart!

I would post a description of the vehicle, but i think it would be best not to.

Well, there's nothing i really could do. I didn't see his plates, and even then, the police wouldn't do anything..

You should've do it. There are police patrols in the city and the dispatcher would alarm them with the information of your location. You've actually broken the law because law states you must report lawbreaking, especially when lives are endangered.

Next time dial 911 and report the mofo.

They were near victims to a crime, not criminals. Geeze, you can be bit heavy handed some lajos . . .

It is true though that you should've immediately have called the police in your area. Even just a description of the vehicle and a report on its location and direction when you last saw it could've led to it being stopped and him being spoken to by the police.

I nearly ran over a drunken bicyclist a few years ago, would have been a better option than hitting a large truck head-on. The bicyclist was on the shoulder, and as I approached he almost fell over and swerved into my lane. fortunately the truck saw what was happening and swerved onto the shoulder and gave me his lane to swerve into.
