How to place cameras on your ship?

Ive seen a number of vids where shots of the underbelly of a plane or engine cluster are taken as if a camera is mounted there. What plugin or mod is that?

I would post this in Q&A but the mobile version of that forum is missing a prefix selection field in the new topic form preventing submission since an error comes back saying the field selection is required - but there is no field.
