Steam transfer question

I was wondering, I bought the game awhile back before they changed the rules on expansions and got grandfathered into free everything. I am currently wondering, however, that because a month ago I made the switch to the steam version, would that would mean I lost my grandfathering?

I don't think it matters since there would still be a record of you buying it through the store, but you should CYA and save your receipt just in case.

It does not matter as far I as I know, I transferred too and I don't think that anything changes except that you now open the game with steam.

Just for clarification, when did the expansions thing end? I got in at 0.19, don't remember the date though. Am I eligible?

There aren't any expansions released yet, so you can say it hasn't even begun. Those won't appear until after the game actually releases. Until then, there are patches and updates, but as those are part of the core game, they come anyway with the purchased version even if you bought it after the free expansion cut-off.
