Lazor system functionality

Recommended Posts

Probably already been asked somewhere and I can't get to the read me file at work...

There are 2 types of controllers in the VAB build menu, I assume either works ("Must be attached somewhere on craft."). I put the cone looking one on top of the Kommand Kupola (I know you see what I did there, no need to wait for it!) of my space station. The other parts in the build menu, the different color emitters (For the various functions.) do these go at the docking ports or do these go on any craft I want to be able to sync with the station?

Also, either case, where do I mount these on hulls of either station or craft I intend to have interact with said station?

Thank you for understanding (Knowing the read me probably addresses all of this.) If I walk away from work today armed with the information, you again help spare several Kerbin lives by allowing me to go in ready to get to "Value added" work right away, instead of hunting read me files for an hour first. >Sigh< >Cough<

<<- Turns eyes down to floor

Thank, I look forward to your knowledge and feedback.

As you posted you will need to use one of the two controllers on your craft. The little multi-colored lazors can be placed anywhere on your vessel except for the caveat of the purple lazors, think they are purple anyway, that can do the hovering and I think tractor beams. Those need to be placed with a bit more care but with some experimentation you will quickly see what I mean about placement. There are several great picture demos located in the release thread for this mod. You can find them here http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/9923 .

Now for Sync'ing I guess your talking about the fuel transfers and the remote control? I'll have to download it again and double check but I believe the craft you are trying to remote to needs to have the lazor system as well but I could be entirely wrong about that one.
