Moon/Mun atmosphere?

Recommended Posts

In part it would be good (In my point of view) so i could have a nice view of the tiny atmosphere on sunspots, But LADEE is still on its way to Moon and we still have no evidence of atmosphere ATM, Maybe when if it does part of its mission this could be considered if the thin atmosphere is discovered Also KSP its not always the same to the real life (I still want my Kerbalized Saturn now! :P) . Im giving my opinion.
Yes, I want a Saturn too , Possibly because this is KSP landing on rings?:D

By the looks of it some people didn't read my second post on this thread... :/

What I meant by atmosphere was not a "Physical" one, which will slow your craft, but rather a "scientific" one, where you will be able to obtain unique data which you can beam back to Kerbin.

Ooo now that sounds very nice, a Minmus atmosphere. Not sure if the devs would bother with making a reasonably thick atmosphere that only goes up to say 900 meters though. Nice thought though, maybe the Krag's Planet Factory mod can do something about it.

I posted this thread with the idea of a "scientific", not physical, atmosphere, which the science parts could be of use. It seems this suggestion is now moot, as science is now obtainable in many different height orbits.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
