KSP Crossover Storys?

---WARNING, GEEKINESS AHEAD--- Hello everyone. Me being my geeky self, I decided to go looking around for any KSP crossover story's that anyone had made. Me being a fan of crossover story's, I quite like them because like I already said, I'm quite a geek. I spent around 10 or so minutes looking around the internet, and was able to only dig up ONE KSP crossover story on the internet, ONE. I mean, I'm not complaining or anything, I'm just curious as to why there are next to no KSP crossover story's out there on the internet. Would it be considered out of place on the fan-works section, would it be COPYRIGHT, or would it just be out of place in the KSP community? And for anyone that wanted to know what that one story was... well... if your not a Brony... then don't Google "ksp crossover story". ---GEEKINESS OVER---

Well many people find it simpler to cross things over by taking their favourite fan-thing and then wiring their knowledge of orbital mechanics and aerospace engineering into it. Such would be the pretext of generating My Little Pony space programs with narry a Kerbal to be found.

I would argue that why there aren't many direct KSP Crossovers is because it's an odd thing to play straight (seeing as they speak in reverse Spanish) and weird to bend (ignoring that, you're still trying to get in contact with literally little green men). To some, or many, it just isn't very appealing, perhaps.
