Mykey Posted September 11, 2013 Share Posted September 11, 2013 I have yet to see a request for a Shuttle Remote Manipulator System (Canadarm) I have a bit of a moon base going on but without having a Manipulator System you're sorta forced to build things complete or with extra propulsion system attached.Would be nice to attach a RMS to a buggy or lander to assist with base setup.interested to see if this concept comes into play.mykey. However, robotics things have indeed been suggested and are on the what not to suggest list.Of course, that doesn't make them bad suggestions...but people don't like to see old ideas brought up, some people get quite negative about it when that happens.But yeah, having some robotic arms or tools for probes are most likely in the pipeline somewheres. It's almost impossible to have a space program simulator without them. Almost every rover in real life has had some type of robotic manipulator or something similar. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait for such things 'cause they're working on bigger core features for the time being...and probably will be for the next couple updates or more.
