Chapter One: The Overview

The Interstellar Vehicle New Dawn, or "IV New Dawn" as they call it, is planned to be an state of the art spacecraft, constructed of the best alloys available to Kerbal-kind. The craft is equipped with the top technology that the superpowers of Kerbin can muster, and is built and staffed by an international crew, the best that Kerbin can offer.

Bob Kerman- "I love this centerfuige. Gravity is going to be esstential if we are going to stay out here for long periods of time."

Dr. Dudgun Kerman- "The habitats being furnished rather "luxirily" by a space sense is a nice aftertouch, even tho-"

Bob Kerman- "Edlu, grab a EVA suit and go check it out."

AI Unit No.12- "Object has impacted the whiffle shield. Checking on scale of damage. Damage is minor."

Edlu Kerman- "Yes sir. Unit, open the airlock for me."

AI Unit No.12- "Airlock is ready. Depressurizing airlock. You are ready to go, godspeed."

Melwin Kerman- "Had to reboot it before it went completely rogue. Sorry, sir."

Gusbas Kerman- "Two crewmembers down in a day, huh?"

Bob Kerman- "How did you get here?"

Gusbas Kerman- "I was looking for someplace to silent watch Hulu. The streaming and coverage sucks around here. Keep this trend up, and this thing will be a ghost ship by tomorrow."

Bob Kerman- "Unit 12, change pilot to Bob Kerman, transmit the information that Edlu Kerman is now "Missing in Action.""

AI Unit No.12- "Yes, sir."

"We have recieved news from the New Dawn Spacecraft today that Lieutenant Colonel Edlu Kerman is now "MIA", from an unfortunate accident while performing and spacewalk past the orbit of Eeloo. No further detail has been noticed, and Bob Kerman, the Mission Commander, is still pending for a comment. The Tierra Robodan goverment has stated its "sorrow at the loss of such a bright young Kerbal who had lots of potiental.". The goverment of the United Proviences could not be reached for comment."

Im excited to see where this is going, a ship like that and its crew cant be perfect

I had to play with the CFG file a little to get the interstellar thing going.

And this is why ion thrusters are not a vital part of my space program. In fact, ion thrusters have no presence in my space program at all.

i use ion thrusters for all my LKO - MKO - HKO transfer tugs

avoids using tons of fuel

ps so far i like it!
