I can´t Dock HELP

I want to dock a Rover to my Station but they dont work the magnets also dont work.

On the Station there's a normal port and on the rover there's a shielded one.

make sure you open the shield of the shielded port (right click and toggle).

Without seeing what you have, in a picture, the first thing to double check is....that the docking ports are matching size. You say it's a shielded on the rover, and a normal on the Station. Is the Station docking port a Sr. or Jr.? If it's not the identical size, then it won't dock.

Another thing to look for, and it's happened to me, I'm sure many others, is the way the docking ports are placed onto the vessel. Is it upside down, or dropped in the incorrect position? Just sight unseen, it sounds like it's probably more of a "correct part" issue than anything else.

Turn off the SAS on the spacecraft you're trying to dock. The ASAS functionality will just fight the magnetic function, and make things bounce around uselessly.
