im still misty eyed from this.

Over weeks of testing fails and one that one day it worked. landing in the crater gave me a feeling that is impossible to put words into.

i wish i really had the attention to re build another rocket and do this all again.

I keep all of the KSP installs I've ever had archived. Some gems below;

My 'Moar Lander' mission (circa who knows... 0.14?)

Replica Concorde from a while back (circa 0.15). Even has a working droop nose!

Someone challenged me to make a rover. Why not a Land Rover?

I forget what version this was, but it's the old one kerb capsule, with almost no interior equipment, but still a nice view.

Old Mun and Kerbin, too.

Here's something old to throw in the time capsule.

Note: This picture is from before the mines were removed from the dark side of Kerbin. IIRC, the ship pictured was capable of sending a command pod and SAS on an escape trajectory and return the pilots to Kerbin.

I unfortunately do not have pictures from mine comes from, but it dates back to before landing legs, back to the old parts. Back when hitting the moon was a real challenge. But I did it, and I did not even know how move the capsule up in the VAB. And that vehicle is still one of my most efficient not LV-N powered ships.

LOL, it wasn't soft when when your ship runs out of fuel 100 meters up!

That's about the same time-frame as the previous pic.

Anyway, here's a prediction FOCUSED ON PLANETS

0.26 the second gas giant

0.28 more asteroids

0.31 the third gas giant and more moons for the other two

0.35 the forth gas giant and more moons for the third and more asteroids

0.38 KERBOL MkII a new star system with 3 planets, a Moho, a kerbin and a large Duna.

0.38+ repeat steps 0.17 to 0.38 for the new star system
