I agree with AmpsterMan, I am one of those people who never joins the forums of games I like, partly because I'm too lazy, partly because I don't even know that one exists, and partly because I see no point in doing so.

However, with KSP you will always be searching the Internet to find out the best way to get your craft into orbit, the most efficient lander design, etc. Of course your googling will lead you to the forums and YouTube videos. (Which can lead you to the forums as well!)

After you look around the forums and find your answers, you begin to see how awesome this community is; how it answers questions about the game regardless of how basic they are is but one of the good points.

Also, after you go through all the trouble of learning how to build and fly really good rockets, part of you wants to give that hard-won knowledge to others.

I don't know, it might me just me, but I love the KSP forums and definitely enjoy seeing the crazy designs the community comes up with and participating in a challenge or two.
