Gerry Anderson recently died, creators of the puppet show THUNDERBIRDS, STINGRAY and Captain Scarlet....

But he was also the creator of the TV show called U.F.O. which used real actors. The plot involves aliens coming to earth to harvest humans for body parts, and the U.N. creates S.H.A.D.O. (Supreme Headquarters, Alien Defense Organization) to defend Earth, and its all done in total secrecy.

They have a Moon base

Where they can launch 3 interceptors, each with a single missile to try and destroy the UFO...

and the women were treated like sex objects... (seriously, this was the early 70's....)

And on Earth, they had SKYDIVER SUBS to destroy the UFO's in our atmosphere...

and if all that failed... the Ground Mobiles would "get" them...

as a side note, SHADO was hidden underneath a "film studio"

And, of course, there was S.I.D. ... Space Intruder Detector...

RIGHT.... there is your challenge.... create these things for KSP....

BTW, they are in the process of making a movie of this set for release early next year....

I used to enjoy watching this when I was a kid, and I still do... I have all the videos, except... its rather dated now, the modern tech was used things like cassette tape recorders, they all smoked... the clothing was laughable... the computers were huge... and worst of all... they used VOICES to communicate with S.I.D. which was essentially, an orbiting computer...

I think I'll wait for the movie...
