Tank Buddy
I stumbled upon this idea because my friend had some confusion; it is difficult to guess the height at which the landing legs will be while deployed, so maybe they could be shown like ladders, fully deployed to help with construction. Also, when building it the VAB, it is difficult to make sure rover wheels are at the same height, so it may be helpful to have a "vertical snap" just like angle snap for putting parts at the same height. sumghai
Perhaps SQUAD could take a page out of the Firespitter mod, and integrate the latter's in-editor animation toggles*.*Basically, parts with the Firespitter animation module can have their animations toggled within the VAB/SPH. This has been particularly useful for things such as enclosed cargo bays, so landing legs shouldn't be too much of a stretch.
