As we sail into the great void of outer space, we all have that final glimpse back towards the green and blue dot which is Kerbin. In our hearts we carry a bit of longing to touch back down at base and greet the crowds of cheering and crying Kerbins, but the mission is not over, no, the journey has just started. Before us the winking stars and the thrill of the unknown calling to the adventurous soul. With pride and courage we sail forth to greet the Heavens as the tiny blue speck fades to join the countless stars as yet another dot in the deep black ocean.

This is the song that tells of that glory and pride as Kerbin fades and adventure begins.

It's rather cool, but you can't say it's peaceful, as the description on soundcloud.com says. The drums simply add a too powerful note for that.

yeah, its more fitting for a cinematic with a a tense but positive atmosphere, like Jeb preparing to do an insertion into jools atmosphere to slow down and get captured by its gravity in an orbit... dangerous and crazy, but we know that jeb can pull it off.

Lol, true, I like march themes. I think it goes back to my marching band days. "there's alot of drums...fix it with louder brass...then more drums." Hahahaha

So I don't make multiple threads, I put the sister idea down into music from my head. It's what can into mind as I sailed past the Mun and Minimus...maybe I think weird, but it's fun

Small tweak to Essence of the Ether, noticed that there was a whole verse missing due to a missed crescendo, lol. Guess I was a bit too excited. Now it sounds better IMO, let me know what you think
