Need help with interplanetary SSTO

i typed up an incredibly meticulous explanation of a problem and then went and wiped it trying to add images, so please forgive me if it's kinda short, i'll try to add any information people ask for

i'm trying to build an interplanetary ssto based around the home module, the ultimate goal is to be able to land on any planet with atmosphere for home fuel plants to convert to fuel, refuel, and have thrust/fuel to go to any other planet.

major problems

no lift- lift is in front of CoG and i have 2.04 TWR, i have experimented with the wings endlessly to no avail.

"sabre m engine"-engines are not attaching to hardpoints

forum- how do i attach pictures of craft/the craft file, i know file locations of these things, simply not how to add

i will try to update with more info, this is partly going up to prevent more total wipes of the preliminary thread, any feedback on required info would be great so people have as much information as possible to help me out.

Are you saying you're not getting off the ground even with 2.04 TWR and CoL ahead of COM? In that case, your problem is probably insufficient pitch authority to rotate the nose up. One thing to remember is that IIRC the creation of lift requires there to be some angle of attack between wing and direction of travel so a wing that's perfectly horizontal generations zero lift. There are several ways to fix this:

1. Move the landing gear so the thing sits slightly nose-up. As it moves down the runway, it's got some AoA and thus some lift.

2. Add some canards to the nose to help kick the nose up.

3. Move the rear wheels until they're just barely behind the CoM, so the plane can rotate almost about its CoM instead of having to lever it up on main gear set too far aft.

IIRC, SABREs only attach as stacks, not radially.

Others have already said how to do pics. To do craft files, just paste them into your post and surround their text with the [ code]....[ /code] thingies.
