Adjustable connectors (jointed)

This is my first post on the forum, so please be gentle.

Like the topic name suggests I would love to see a connector where you can adjust the angle. This would be useful for creating more advanced rockets in all kinds of shaped and would reduce the amount of wasted space along the rocket. Of course it shouldn't be bendable once placed. What I had in mind is something like an elbow joint which kinda looks this, only shorter and rounder:

in the game robot arena 2 there were those, so you could set an angle and then permanently place it on the robot

I'm not a native speaker, but yes I think that's what I want. But I'll probably be happy with a lot of loose interpretations of it.

It's a pretty good idea. I'd love to see it implemented in the game.
