Glider Stock Challenge

Found out that you can stick 2 wings to a girder that will make a good glider.

Challenge is to see how long you can stay aloft.

Rules:

Stock only, NO mods.

No flapping, must be fixed wings.

No engine or rocket parts.

Limited within Kerbal atmosphere.

Allowed to lift glider to 10km (for good views).

(Minimum) Parts:

z-100 battery, OX-stat solar panel, long I beam, 2 wings.

Any form of rocket is allowed to get glider to 10km. Pods allowed for control. You can start anywhere on Kerbin (within rules).

Duna challenge: looks like it would be possible to get some loooooong distances.

Anyone want to circle Duna (unpowered) ??

By exploiting the infamous infiniglide bug people have reached sub-orbital trajectories without the use of rockets or other propulsion.

Glider challenges are inherently flawed as they are a test of player endurance instead of design. The longer you are willing to spend the longer it will fly.

The point of the challenge is for people to try it !!! Not discuss how to cheat... /sigh
