On the date of 1 K.E, the High Secretary of the Kermunist Republiks, Fredly Kerman. Decided to attempt to start a planetary civilization under the Kermunist flag. After many missions, from the Mun to Eeloo. It was decided. Fredly was a moron. He was fired. After 50 years, in 51 K.E, a new space program begin...

Mission 1: Project S-1

The S-1 Communications satellite was designed to give Kermunist leaders a way to communicate when the phone lines were down. This usually happened on Mondays, so they had a day to launch a satellite, to avoid annoyance and supreme boredom.

Mission Controller: Launch in 5... 4... 3... 2... 1...

Mission Controller: We have liftoff.

Mission Controller: The rocket is now higher than any other Kermunist construct. *Sounds of champagne popping in mission control*

Mission Controller: We have orbit. I repeat, we have orbit confirmed.

Mission 2: Operation: Polar Star.

After the Kermunist military caught wind of what had happened on Monday, they wanted their own satellite. This satellite would be equipped with high-resolution cameras to spy on other countries.

Because this mission is secret, captions have been censored.

General Kremrin: We have liftoff. Polar Star is underway.

Mission Control: Beginning circulization burn.

General Kremrin: Make it so.

Mission Control: Sir! We have orbit! This is a great victory for kerbalkind!
