3ds max export help

So I'm creating my first part with 3dsmax , using a bunch of differnet tutorials. when it comes to export the model, they all focus on having a scale factor 1.0. The thing is, no matter what I do, I do not have ANY number showing up. I just have a blank space where everybody has 1.0.

Anyone has the solution for this?

What does your workflow look like? the current one should be:

* Save from Max as something friendly ( .max works fine )

* Open/drop into Unity

* When you click on the file in Unity you'll get a visible list of contents, and a bunch of import settings - that's where you set the scale factor. Mine default to 0.01 every single time...

* Drop your asset into a Unity scene, add a Parttools component, etc.

If that's what you're doing then it sounds like a Unity issue somewhere, you haven't got to anything KSP related yet.
