A theory on why the Orange Suits respawn

Of course they respawn, they got a whole tank of 'em. Why do you think the biggest tank is orange? When they die, they just pour the liquid Kerbal into a mold and out pops three more orange suits.

I, personally, support the cloning idea.. That those three are important enough to the space program to be worth the expense to bring them back.

That being said, I support the ability to nominate new orange suits, and I nominate (Special Agent) Kirrim.

I'd like it if the other Kerbals eventually got promoted and got an orange suit based on how many missions and how far they've flown. Blast a white suit to a half dozen planets and when they return they get promoted.

With the new astronaut hiring system, do you actually have to hire jeb bob and bill again, or do they automatically respawn back into your available astronauts?

I was wondering becausde I killed all of my orange suits and havent seen them since.

They just respawn back into your roster, no need to rehire them.
