How can I get multiple Kerbals to leave a command module that landed on Minmus?

Hi all,

I've successfully landed my rocket with attached command module on Minmus. I have one Kerbal on the ground however I don't know how to gain control of the remaining two Kerbals and have them leave the command module. Can someone please provide instructions on how to do this?
