Two on the belly, two on the waist, one in the cockpit. You might be mistaking the observation dome for a turret.

EDIT: Also, if it's any consolation, the devs have made it clear that everything. Everything. Can be earned in game. So any cool stuff you see beforehand, you'll be able to get it in the game just by playing, one way or the other!

I'd say get the Retaliator. It's got the long-range capacity so it'll be good for exploring, and it comes with the ability to be rebuilt into a bomber if you need it, and also it looks super cool and seems to have not-terrible visibility.

ive also been told you may be able to replace a turret with a tractor beam plus if I get the reat and don't like it I can melt it for a freelancer, cutlass, and a LN if its still on sale then

Better make your choice soonâ„¢! The LN disappears on Friday apparently, when the Hornet variants come. And yea, it would be great if we could put tractor beams on turrets. And it'd also be handy if we could replace crewed turrets with autoturrets if you can't find a full crew.

We'll I've already got a 325a so I don't think I'd need another fighter but you got the idea. I also don't think they would limit the universe to havering 1 class 2 tractor beam and to think that auto turret tech haven't advanced in 900 years would be absurd but I guess that's what Npc crew are for

I swapped out my Aurora LX for an LN. Sadly I now realize how ugly the paint job is. I really don't mind, I'll just hope that they allow custom paint jobs in the future. Maybe it'll void my warranty, and/or my LTI won't cover it.
