Kethane Mod Problems!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there has been a few answers to this one, but I'm new, so cut me some slack!

I *correctly* installed the mod, and all the parts are there. But when the scanners are clicked there is no submenu popup.

I understand the general consensus is that it is Antivirus software blocking the plugin. I have only Windows Defender, and no idea how to allow the plugin.

Other than that, I've tried numerous solutions, none of which have worked. Let me know if you need a screenshot of code or anything fancy.

Please help!

the new kethane uses the map, when you go into map view you will find hexagons all over the planet when you go over these area while your scanner is on, it will either be gray indicating there is no kethane or green signifying there is.

However if you mean there is no dropdown menu then I cant help you, sorry.

So, that really had nothing to do with the issue I'm having... thanks for replying all theasame. I understand HOW to use it, the problem is the driver isn't WORKING.

Other mods installed: KAS, Infernal Robotics, a couple of others. As far as I can make out the drop down menu won't appear simply because the plugin is not working; everything else is fine

Just to be safe send us the craft file. I believe that you are capable of building a proper probe/ship, but lets just be sure that you did not forget something.

Also saying that you "properly" installed something always makes me a little angsty. This is due to how easy it is to install mods (aka all you have to do is dump it in its own folder in GameData)

There's a lot of problems with it; I threw it together in a jiffy simply to test to mod.

Does it not work on version 0.20 or something?
