Poor mans orbiter (Tier 1 parts only)

Since we've had a sneak peek at what the tech tree will look like I decided to attempt orbit with just Tier 1 parts (mk1 command pod, RT-10 solid boosters, LV-T30 engines, FT-T200 fuel tanks and MK16 parachutes). It is possible, but it took a few attempts.

I'm not doing to display a pic here as that may be a bit of a spoiler, but if you want to see it here's a link.

And here's the craft - It will get you to a 100km circular orbit and back home again.

However, i will!

Given the amount of torque in the pod and the amount of thrust of the LV-T30, you can simply stack 13 tanks on to of eachother, onto the T30 and put the pod on top.

It'll give you enough deltaV to get into a 600km orbit if you so desire
