Aerodynamics and FAR

I had an idea the other day to try and make a hypersonic plane, I use FAR so it's mostly a horizontal rocket with a few winglets giving control. I don't have a picture, but it's basically the most powerful jet from the B9 pack, coupled with a intake at the front with a pod and small fuel tank between the two with and a few wingtips, as previously mentioned, to provide control. It tends to flip out on takeoff though, even though it's basically a rocket. Am I missing something or?

There are two things I could think of: Either you're using the Sabre intake, which cause asymmetrical drag or your wingtips are improperly placed.
